The "Environment and Digital Technologies" webinar – being organised by BRGM on Tuesday 20 April 2021 – is open to the scientific community in the Centre-Val de Loire region.

Aimed at developing contacts and scientific exchanges, the event will bring together laboratory directors, scientific project managers and researchers from the universities of Orléans and Tours as well as from various organisations based in the Centre-Val de Loire region (BRGM, INRAE, CNRS, etc.). The participants will come from two scientific communities:

  • researchers working on digital developments (mathematicians, computer scientists),
  • scientists working on environmental issues (geologists, soil scientists, agronomists, hydrologists/hydrogeologists, biologists, physicists, etc.).

The aim is to reinforce existing links and encourage further collaboration between the two communities.

The event also seeks to consolidate the region's specialist expertise in the area of "Environment and Digital Technologies", notably in the field of artificial intelligence.
